About ArdCraft

A family's creative energy, given purpose.

The Moore Family

The Moore Family

Russ Moore started writing at a young age, winning contests with his ideas, with a long-awaited dream to publish his works that took a backseat to joining the Military, studying Electrical Engineering and working as a Senior Software Developer. at about 12 years old, the idea of Pignoli the Chef was put on paper. A friend who worked at Disney Studios, Steve Czarnecki, helped sketch out some ideas for the book and almost 20 years later, Russ' mom and sister helped illustrate the book and get it into print.

ArdCraft is what happens when a family stops saying "wouldn't it be great if..." and starts building.

Our Mission

To collaborate with illustrators and authors to turn creative dreams into beautifully published reality — and to create experiences that bring families and communities together around stories and games.

How We Work

ArdCraft partners with authors and illustrators at every stage — from concept to bookshelf.

01

Discovery

We listen to your story idea, review your manuscript or portfolio, and explore whether ArdCraft is the right home for your vision.

02

Collaboration

We pair authors with illustrators, refine the manuscript, and shape the visual world of the book together. Every decision is shared.

03

Craft

The book takes shape — beautiful illustrations, thoughtful typography, a cover that demands to be picked up. We obsess over the details.

04

Publish

The finished book goes to print and into the world. We handle design, production, and distribution — you focus on being proud of what we built together.

Our Values

Family First

Everything we build starts at our kitchen table. Family isn't just who we are — it's how we work.

Imagination Without Limits

The best stories come from asking 'what if?' We encourage wild ideas, fantastical worlds, and creative risk.

Crafted by Hand

From books to board game pieces, we believe in the power of things made with care, attention, and human hands.

Veteran Values

Discipline, integrity, community, and the commitment to do things right — even when no one is watching.
